Reduced Workshop Fees
Members and their students attend our workshops at a reduced fee. Join us and take advantage of reasonably priced dance workshops.
Free Member's Workshop
DMW Members enjoy a free workshop each March, hosted by a different member each year. Dance Masters of Wisconsin hires its own members as faculty for the workshop - it's your opportunity to share your techniques, tricks of the trade and your well-refined skills.

Workshops Notes & Video
Members in attendance at workshops receive free notes and the option to receive videos of the day's classes. We also encourage our members to video classes on their own to ensure they have the material they want most. *Notes available when provided by the faculty.
Professional Network
Meet other like-minded dance teachers at our workshops. Share ideas, ask each other questions and encourage each other to be the best we can be.
Reciprocity with CNADM
Members of Dance Masters of Wisconsin enjoy reciprocity with the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and Southern Association of Dance Masters.
ABOUT BECOMING
A MEMBER.
We would like to invite qualified applicants to become members of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Inc.
We are an examination-giving organization, governed by a code of strict professional ethics. DMW is a non-profit educational association per section 501c(3) under the Internal Revenue Service code.
Qualifications for Membership:

All applicants shall be at least eighteen years of age.

All applicants must have taught dance (or taught classes under the supervision of an established teacher) for at least three years.

The prospective member must file an application with the organization accompanied by a nonrefundable application fee.

Applicants will be required to pass a minimum of two written examinations in the major subjects they teach – Ballet, Tap, Jazz – with a minimum passing grade of 75%. The examinations include written, as well as demonstrative & oral components. Special consideration shall be made for applicants who have verified they teach only one dance discipline. An appropriate authority, appointed by the examining committee, may examine additional dance disciplines.

Applicants must be voted on and accepted by the general membership.
