2012 Court, Miss DMW and escorts

The annual “Miss DMW Scholarship Pageant” is held in November. We encourage you and your students to participate. To find the criteria that each contestant will need to meet, please contact us!!

The Miss DMW Scholarship Pageant is held annually in conjunction with the November workshop. The winner is awarded a $500.00 cash scholarship, scholarships to a year of DMW workshops, merchandise from the vendors in attendance, and frequently scholarships to prestigious summer programs.
Miss DMW is judged 70% on talent, 15% on an interview with the judges and 15% on poise (as she is often called upon to act as a spokesperson for the organization).
The teacher of Miss DMW is awarded a traveling plaque to display at his/her studio for the year.

Applicants must be:

• 15-22 years of age
• A Member or student of a Member
• Registered and in attendance at the DMW November workshop
