Additional Information: Deadline for registration is March 6, 2012. You may register for workshop after the deadline but a $5.00 late fee is required and lunch is not included.
SUZANNE SWANSON WAGNER:
is well known for her talents as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer.
She has studied extensively worldwide in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Russia and Paris under masters in ballet, jazz, and tap. Other credits include
teaching at the College of St. Theresa, Dance Masters of WI conventions, touring Colorado and abroad to Russia and France with her Vision Dance company,
to Disney World, and a performance on the carnival cruise ship Destiny with her dance stars, choreography for high school and college performance groups,
and work with area musical theaters. She is the Artistic Director and Founder of the Monroe-Jackson Dance Theatre for which she has staged the Nutcracker,
Thumbelina, Peter Pan’s Awfully Big Adventure, The Sleeping Beauty, and Peter and the Wolf. Miss Suzanne is a member of DMW and a board member of the Chicago
National Association of Dance Masters.
VICTORIA WARREN:
is presently the Artistic Director at All That Dance in Crystal Lake, IL.
Before teaching at ATD, Victoria was an apprentice with the Milwaukee Ballet and had been on scholarship with Giordano Dance Center in Evanston, IL.
Victoria is currently enjoying her new stage of life as she encourages current and former students pursuing a path of being a dance major, dance educator,
professional company member, and being accepted to the top musical theatre universities in the U.S. Finally, Victoria would like to thank DMW Past Presidents’
Coalition for this opportunity.
DIANE REMY: is affiliated with and has taught on the faculties of Dance Masters of Wisconsin,
Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Cecchetti Council of America Midwest Branch where she holds a Grade Five classical ballet teacher rating and has
taught for National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts. Diane has performed throughout the Midwest, at Jacob’s Pillow and with the Racine Dance Theater.
She received her early training with Helen Finst, Vesper Chamberlin, and Tibor Zana. She has continued her studies of all dance disciplines with numerous master
teachers. Diane received the Beatrice Scott Award for dance contribution to the J. M. Kohler Arts Center, was named National Music Person of the Year by the
Sheboygan Music Club, was elected to the Music Wall of Fame in Fountain Park in Sheboygan, and in 1999 received the Wisconsin Dance Council Lifetime Achievement
Award. Diane is a 50 year member of DMW.
LAUREN VARALLO:
has been dancing and performing since the age of three. Her areas of expertise include ballet,
jazz, pointe, lyrical, Pom , and Kick. She has eighteen years of combined experience in competitive dance team and studio performance. She graduated from Purdue
University and was a member of the Purdue Golduster Dance Team. While pursuing her undergraduate degree she took dance classes through Purdue to further her dance
knowledge and curriculum. She was selected to the Golduster Leadership Team in 2008 and in 2009 was appointed Student Leader. Lauren performed at Disney World in
the SpectroMagic Parade and Downtown Disney Showcase, in Bejing, China for the Olympics (also, at the Great Wall of China), for all home football games, the Motor
City Bowl, Champs Sports Bowl, for a play-off game of the Indianapolis Colts, and Purdue Men’s & Women’s Basketball games along with many local shows.
She has directed/choreographed several Pom camps for local teams.
