JULIE JANUS WALTERS was chosen by Robert Joffrey to join the Joffrey Ballet in 1982 where she was a leading dancer for more than a decade. She has been featured in performances around the world as well as on national and international television. She was a Principal Dancer with Atlanta Ballet and Principal Guest Artist with the National Ballet of Iceland. Ms. Janus Walters is currently Assistant Professor of the Practice of Dance and Co-Director of the Duke Ballet Repertory Ensemble at Duke University. She has taught for major professional companies and training organizations such as the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, Joffrey Ballet School, Princeton Ballet School, North Carolina Dance Theatre School, CNADM, DMW, and Regional Dance America. Ms Janus Walters served as Assistant Director of the Carolina Ballet/UNC Wilmington Summer Intensive and Residency during the summers of 2007 and 2008 and is currently Assistant Director of the Ruth S. Shur Carolina Ballet Summer Intensive in Raleigh, N.C. She is a Partner and Instructor with the Ballet School of Chapel Hill and is proud to be an honorary member of the Dance Masters of Wisconsin.

JULIE CARTIER is a native of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and is currently the Cartier Collective Artistic Director, sought after choreographer and teacher in the Chicago area. She has invested her last 25 years to all things dance. Julie first came to Chicago via the concert dance scene, performing with some of Chicago’s finest dance companies including Chi-town Jazz Dance, The Lynda Martha Dance Company and River North Dance Company. She dabbled in musical theater, trade shows, & the like, & became a founding member of Especially Tap Chicago, one of Chicago’s oldest and most successful tap ensembles. In 2000, Julie took over leadership of the group as artistic director. Her diverse background has presented her with a wide range of theatrical projects both as performer & choreographer. She has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra & on a lark performed on The Today Show! She has recently choreographed for Celebrity Cruise Lines newest ships and continues to create new works for companies throughout the U.S. Julie started Soul-2-Shoes Youth Tap Company at Dancecenter North in Libertyville and continues to teach for some of the finest studios in the Chicagoland area and abroad, including a 10 year stint at Barat College, Dancecenter Evanston, Danceworks of Milwaukee, Gus Giordano’s Dance Center & the Lou Conte Studio.

DONNETTE CANNONIE is a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Chicago. She is most recently the co-founder and director of the Convention, a division of Dylan Artists Management Inc. Trained in multiple styles, she has worked as a versatile dancer nationally and internationally with many companies and artists working in both the concert and commercial world of dance. She spent 7 seasons dancing and traveling with The Dance COLEctive and 5 seasons as their Executive Director. She has performed as a guest artist with various companies across the country and as a company member with Corpo Dance Co. Donnette has taught master classes and workshops across the country and abroad for dance programs including Ballet Tennessee, The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, Columbia College summer program, and has spent the past six summers teaching at the Alabama Ballet, originally under the direction of Wes Chapman, current ABT II Artistic Director. She has been a guest judge for ScotCheer/ScotDance, WCA Dance Nationals, the Miss Chicago Pageant for the Miss America Organization as well as local and state dance competitions across the United States. She holds a B.A. in dance and performance from Columbia College Chicago.

EDDIE MOLENDA has been dancing hip hop since he was a young boy inspired by Michael Jackson, James Brown and Usher. At the age of 19, Eddie became a four year performing member with HyPerformance Dance Company, which he has since stayed involved with as a choreographer. Eddie has traveled to Los Angeles where he has trained at Millenium Dance Complex, Debbie Reynolds and Debbie Allen Dance Academies. He has studied hip hop under such choreographers as Napoleon & Tabitha D’umo, Phi of the Jabbawockeez, Marty Kudelka and has performed with and assisted Cedric Gardner from SYTYCD around the Midwest. Eddie has stayed busy in southeastern Wisconsin teaching hip hop full time at several studios since 2008. He has choreographed and performed in fashion shows along with other events in the region, and he has even choreographed a flash mob for downtown Milwaukee's Jazz in the Park.
